With the silicon loop toward the top of your show, thread your shoelace through both holes on the back of the silicon cover. For best results, thread it about 2 or 3 places down from the top.

Insert the metal ID into the opening at the bottom of the silicon cover. Push firmly until the round portion of your metal ID is entirely within the silicon cover, leaving only the metal tab exposed.
